VIDEO: Adey – Back For The 1st Time (The Documentary)

Adey is one dude we’ve been keeping tabs on for a very long time. He’s done considerable damage in the online community with his weekly series, some notable productions/features as well as the release of his official single “Beremole” featuring Tiwa Savage.

The crooner and his management have decided to put out a documentary showing us a side of Adey we’ve never seen before. He has a beautiful and supportive family, and that’s a MASSIVE plus for any musician. Hope you enjoy this documentary as much as I did. I look forward to watching Adey rise to the top as long as he continues pushing hard and maintains a positive attitude.

His next single “Shun Sir” will be out soon.

“Adey Chose to name this documentary “Back for the 1st Time” because he isn’t going anytime soon, Adey as we all know recently dropped a video for his hit single Titled beremole with Tiwa Savage and charmed us with us his smile & “oyinbo” dance moves.

This documentary shows a brief background & insight on Adey, it tells us that when you have the support & backing from family & loved ones nothing can stop you. This shows us that being a musician is not just a hobby or about talent but it’s also a profession. He co-owns his own record label alongside his very good friend & manager Adepeju Adewusi & it’s called Moonrock Global records otherwise known as MRG records.

This documentary also features the CEO of Mavin records Don Jazzy, Adey’s mentor & very good friend. There’s also been speculations of them working together & an addition to the Mavin family, well let’s wait & see what the beremole crooner has in store for us.”

Directed by Gbaymee Phillips.

If you missed the “Beremole” video (featuring Tiwa Savage), you can watch it below.

VIDEO: EME Performs LIVE For Channel O in Kenya

From what I heard, this performance still has not aired on Channel O, so it might be taken down at any moment. The EME Crew (Wizkid, Banky W, Skales, ShayDee, Niyola, DJ XClusive) stormed Kenya a few days ago for a LIVE Channel O Special (O News Live). Apparently there were other African stars on stage as well, can’t fully confirm names, but this is the one that was sent to us by an anonymous source.

“Can’t Stop Us” is one of the songs on the Empire State of Mind album. The crew brought real energy to the stage. Hopefully we’ll get to see all the full performances on Channel O soon. For now, enjoy this video while it lasts.

True Confession: My husband did not kill him, he killed himself…

I don’t know whether you will be willing to publish this story on your True Confession column, considering that it doesn’t have so much to say about love and sex. My own story is hardcore, and I pray you find me a little space to have it published just for the sake of my children. They want their father back!

I know that by the time I’m done with this story, mouth will go agape, and those concerned will know the truth they never wished to know. Of course they wouldn’t want to hear this kind of story when they have already thrown him into jail just to rotten away. All I know is that one day, my husband will return and the truth will be revealed, no matter the number of years it takes.

As I look straight towards my ceiling fan, all I see is an empty space, and just the fan oscillating above my head. The usual laughter and joy that had characterized my home, I mean our home years past have suddenly disappeared to nowhere in particular. Yes, my husband’s voice has gone silence. That lively man! No… he is not dead. He is only gnashing innocently in pain and in solitary confinement. The lawyer-liar told me the last time he went visiting that he has changed- my husband is suffering. I do not want to go to that prison for a visit again. I do not want to see him in that self-contained dungeon again; I want to hold back my tears. I do not want it to stream uncontrollably like an ever-flowing river again. Let me remain here melancholic. However, I know that one day, someday, his innocence will vindicate him; that is the only truth I know now.

I am from Cross Rivers State, and a mother of 2. I have been married for over 10 years. I had lived peacefully and happily with my husband since we got married until everything turned sour one Sunday morning.

I remember the question those lawyers asked; “was your husband truly having a squabble to settle with his late brother John before he died?” and I replied in affirmation, yes! That was one of the things used against him.

Of course, my husband had a serious dispute with his stepbrother John, prior to the incident. While we live in Calabar, John lived in the village. He had settled down in the village and had taken over their father’s land. When it was time for my husband to erect few blocks in the village for a family house, John who was his younger brother had insisted on a particular land, which my husband had considered water-lodged and not good enough for any kind of building. He had moved to build the house where he thought was strategic and better for that kind of edifice he wanted to put up; but when my husband returned few weeks after blocks had been laid up to the lintel level, we got a call from the village that the structure had been reduced to just debris.

John had mobilized some boys to the site, and nothing, I mean not even a single block was left standing. My husband, as quiet and peaceful as he was quietly took the case to the family elders who had fined john for his inhumane act. They had asked John to pay for the demolition, but my husband insisted that the millions he invested in the house should be forgotten, as he promised to commence work again on the site. I was particularly not happy with his decision, but I’m only a woman and there was really not much I could do to change his decision, after all, I may be called the devil’s advocate.

Few months after work had commenced on the site again, tragedy struck. We were dead asleep one Saturday night. Power had fluctuated and we all went to sleep as early as 11pm. It was around 12am, when we heard a knock on the door. My husband had asked who the person was, but no reply was coming from the other side of the door.

The person remained mum as goose pimples ran through my spine. My heart ached as if it was going to jump through my mouth. “But, who could that be?” My husband had asked no one in particular. The knock continued on the door, but this time it was heavier. Then my husband quietly went into the bedroom and returned with a small gun. I never knew he had a gun. I was terribly afraid. I told him to take the gun back to the room as I saw that his hands were obviously shaking. However, at that moment, the bang ceased.

He drew the window blinds and did not see anything. It was very dark, I mean tick-dark; only the tick–tack of the clock could be heard, as everywhere was quiet. We then gathered courage and went back to sleep. Nevertheless, my husband did not return the gun to where he got it from. He dropped it on the floor in our bedroom just in case the supposed thief returns.

Like a flight from Abuja to Lagos, we had woken to the break of another day, but because we had a stressful night, we woke up very late as well. When we opened our door, behold people had gathered in front of our house. We could not believe our eyes when we saw my husband’s stepbrother on the ground in the pool of his own blood. The guy was shot. Before we could get out of the shock, some team of police officers had arrived to inspect our house, and of course, my husband’s gun was one of weapons recovered from the room. With the circumstances, my husband had pleaded guilty to the charges brought against him, and has since been sentenced. He told me that with the circumstances, there is nothing he would have done to convince people that he was not the one killed John.

It pains me to the bone that my husband is going through hell for what he knows nothing about. What can I do in this case for people to believe that my husband did not kill his brother? I need you to guide me on this matter because I want him out. His children want him out. Who do think killed John? Who can we go after? Who will take this cup away from my husband, my children and myself.

Rev. King moved to Kastina Prisons for “causing undue tension”

For organising prayer sessions for devotees and causing undue tension at Kaduna Prisons, condemned founder of Christian Praying Assembly, Rev. Chukwuemeka Ezeugo, popularly known as Rev. King, has been transferred to Kastina Prison.

Although prison authorities in Kaduna, Northcentral Nigeria, have not officially revealed his whereabouts, prison sources informed P.M.NEWS that he was moved to Katsina Prison because a large number of his church members including notable politicians, always visit him in Kaduna for prayers, which became a source of concern to the prison authorities.

King, who was sentenced to death by hanging for the murder of a female member of his church, has appealed against the conviction and is awaiting judgement. But while he remains in prison, his devotees and some influential members of his church have been working hard to ensure that his death sentence was reversed.

One of the sources, who did not want his name mentioned, said: “The man is just too influential among his adherents. We see different people, both high and low class, visit him for prayers.”

According to the source, when the prison authorities became uncomfortable with how his devotees visit him for prayers, causing tension in the prison, they decided to move him far north to an unknown prison where nobody can see him.

Efforts to get official information on his whereabouts at the time of filing this story were futile as all the senior personnel declined to talk on any matter regarding him, saying his case is still pending in court.

Rev. King was sentenced to death by hanging in 2007 by Justice Olubunmi Oyewole of the Ikeja High Court on a 5-count charge of murder.

The bearded General Overseer of Christian Praying Assembly (CPA) at Canal View Street, Ajao Estate was convicted for setting fire on seven members of his church whom he accused of fornication.

One of them, Ann King, died as a result of injuries sustained in the fire.
During the trial, witnesses, who were mostly his church members, narrated how Reverend King turned them to sex toys. The principal witness in the matter, Kelechi King, in her gory account told the court how she had aborted four pregnancies for the self-acclaimed ‘god’.

She also revealed how Reverend King made her denounce her family and how she served him as his maid, attending to him naked.

On the incident that led to the death of Ann, almost all the prosecution witnesses corroborated the fact that Rev. King actually set them on fire by pouring fuel on them.

They also told the court that on the said date, Rev. King gathered them together in his house following allegations that they were committing fornication in his house, an allegation they all denied.

Another prosecution witness, Olisa Chiejina, told the court then how the accused operated a “Lord Army”, an outfit he said Rev. King uses to intimidate and harass members of his church.

After his conviction, Reverend King was taken to the Kirikiri Prisons where he was put on death row.

His lawyers, however, immediately filed an appeal to forestall his execution. The appeal is still pending. While awaiting his appeal, he was accused of having sexual intercourse with female guests even in prison. The allegation subsequently led to his transfer to Kuje Prisons in Abuja before he was moved to Kaduna Prisons again.

First Lady of Cross Rivers allegedly suffering from tapeworm infection

According to what National Enquirer Magazine reported, there’s this popular saying that, poverty doesn’t ever kill but riches do.
That’s exactly the situation with one of the wives of a Nigerian governor who`s presently biting her fingers for looking for comforter when she’s comfortably off.

It is a story of the First Lady of Cross Rivers State, Obioma Liyel-Imoke who’s said to be dying of an infection caused by tapeworm ingested in her system by some Indian specialists 2 years ago during one of her adventures to cut her size.

It would be recalled that, the wealthy woman who owns the popular ValueMart in Victoria Island, Lagos was a size 18 before her husband became the governor of Cross Rivers State and no sooner the handsome man was sworn in than the wife, Obioma began shopping for suitable specialist hospital abroad where she could burn excess fat and reduce her size drastically to allow her compete probably with girls in the range of 12-14.

She made a fantastic appearance when she walked majestically on stage in 2010 during her speech on the debut ceremony of the Calabar festival which was held in Eko Hotel & Suites, Lagos, she was really looking dashing in a lovely size 14 gown, her cute and lovely physique was no doubt the subject of the day amongst society ladies in attendance as they were all marveled at the mystique behind her reduction from size 18 to 14.

She has since then dazzled in several events turning heads with her skin which is always festooned in expensive ornaments like diamond, gold and the likes coupled with top of the range designer wears, bags, wrist watches and what have you.

Two years down the line, we gathered reliably that Obioma allegedly began to emaciate, at first, she was enjoying it as she was even said to be preparing to shop for a smaller size before bubble burst recently.

Dependable sources who’re feeling her pulse have disclosed that, the woman is not finding it funny as she now suffers pain in her bone marrow and some of her joints, this was what eventually informed her decision to go back to the hospital in Indian where she heard the shocking news of her life.

According to inside sources, the doctors were said to have been so mad at Obioma for refusing to keep to instructions after her liposuction surgery in 2010. We were reliably informed that, she had been asked to come back in 3 months after the Tapeworm had been ingested into her system because the parasite was only meant to burn fat in her bowel for some months after which the treatment continues but the moment the wife of the Governor saw the wonder of the blade, she forgot to go back to complete her treatment.

We however tried to get in touch with the people we know at the Cross Rivers State Government House but the response we got is that the Governor has changed everybody on that beat and the new people are not on ground yet. Our source who’s very close to Mrs Liyel-Imoke has promised to keep informing us as events unfold.
